Project Story
The 2019 Angola Election was a major local political event with extremely high requirements for the timeliness of material supply. Custom clothing was for uniform dressing of election staff, flags for on-site publicity and decoration, and scarves as supporting supplies. Together, they supported the maintenance of on-site order and image display for the election.
The organizers of the Angola Election aimed to enhance on-site recognition and standardization through custom supplies. The core goal was to complete the production of a large number of materials and ship them quickly within a short period to ensure they were put into use before the election.
Dual Pressure of Scale and Timeliness: Over 1.3 million supplies covering three categories (clothing, flags, scarves) needed to be produced and shipped within 28 days, placing strict demands on production capacity and efficiency.
Difficulty in Shipping Coordination: It was necessary to complete shipping preparations such as packaging and counting in the later stage of production to ensure seamless connection between production and shipping and avoid delays.
Full-Capacity Collaborative Production: All available production lines in 3 manufacturing facilities were activated and divided by product type—clothing production lines focused on cutting and sewing, flag production lines on printing and cutting, and scarf production lines on fine processing. The raw material center ensured 24-hour fabric supply to avoid production stoppages due to material shortages.
Shipping Process Preparations in Advance: When production entered the final stage, personnel were arranged in advance to count and pack products by category, and logistics channels were connected simultaneously. Shipping was initiated immediately after production was completed to shorten the connection time between production and shipping.
All 1,000,000 pieces of clothing, 300,000 flags, and 100 scarves were produced and shipped within 28 days. They were promptly delivered to Angola and put into use for the election, with the customer highly recognizing the delivery efficiency.
The preparation period for the 2019 Angola Election was tight, and the timely arrival of materials directly affected the progress of election-related work. As essential on-site materials, the rapid production and shipping of custom supplies were important links to ensure the smooth conduct of the election.
Founded in 1994, Gahumi is a comprehensive fabric-printing enterprise integrating product R&D, design, manufacturing, and sales. Its product range includes towels, golf towels, flags, advertising T-shirts, sports items, fans’ scarves, hats, and other election accessories.
With 31 years of manufacturing experience, Gahumi exports to the US, Europe, East Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, maintaining long-term partnerships worldwide. Over 300 professional staff and 5,000 sqm of facilities (including raw material, sewing, and full-auto printing centers) enable efficient responses to large-scale, time-sensitive production and shipping needs, offering OEM/ODM services.
The success of this project was due to full-capacity scheduling and shipping process optimization. Large-scale production challenges were overcome through multi-line collaboration, and rapid delivery was achieved by preparing the shipping process in advance. This case confirms Gahumi's core capabilities in the customization of urgent, large-scale election materials and accumulates practical experience for subsequent similar projects.
The Solution
Shipping over 1.3 million supplies in 28 days was almost an impossible task, but Gahumi did it. They not only completed production quickly but also ensured smooth shipping coordination, fully meeting our urgent needs.
